From this information, we will choose a day/time that best suits the children, school and teacher. This does mean, however, that there is a slight possibility your child may not be able to do the day/time chosen.

Terms and Conditions

            

              Terms of Contract

    1. By enrolling in La Petite Académie Limited (LPA) classes, you acknowledge and agree to our terms and conditions (these Terms).

              Fees

    1. You are responsible for payment of tuition fees (the Fee) which is invoiced at the beginning of each school term. 

    2. Full payment of tuition fees is required within 7 days of the invoice date (Due Date).  

    3. All costs incurred in the recovery process of overdue accounts including but not limited to debt recovery charges and legal fees will be added to the debtors account.

              Attendance

    1. You are responsible for the student’s course attendance.  Fees for any classes missed due to a student’s absence for any reason are not refundable.

              Cancellation and Changes

    1. LPA may be required to cancel class(es) from time to time. LPA will notify you by text message if classes will be cancelled or rescheduled. LPA will endeavour to reschedule or organise an alternative class in the current term.  If this is not possible, the cost of the cancelled class will be credited in the fee for the next term.

    2. LPA may be required to change the day, time or teacher for existing class(es) from time to time.  LPA will notify you by email if an existing class is to be changed.

    3. If LPA is required to cancel a class due to any event that closes the school to staff and students, including “Acts of God” the cost of the cancelled class will not be refunded. 

              Refunds

    1. If the student withdraws from the course during the term, the tuition fees will not be refunded.  Any notice of withdrawal from the course must be made in writing to LPA.

    2. LPA reserve the right to withdraw a student from a LPA course, further to a student’s poor behaviour, or non-payment of fees.  If LPA require a student to leave for these reasons the tuition fees will not be refunded.

              Responsibility for Students

    1. LPA is not responsible for students outside the allocated class time. 

              Liability and indemnity

    1. Our liability for any loss or damage or injury or any breach of our obligations shall not exceed any amount payable by you to the value of one term.

    2. You agree to indemnify LPA against any loss or damage suffered further to any breach by you of these terms and conditions.

    3. This clause applies after this agreement is terminated.

              The Privacy Act 1993

    1. Personal information relating to you and the student provided at the time of enrolment is collected and held by LPA for invoicing, or debt recovery purposes.  You are entitled to access, and request correction of any personal information held by LPA.

                  1.  All materials used during LPA lessons are subject to copyright. You agree not to make copies of any materials provided by LPA.
